Hi there.
Here’s a little more about who I am, and how I approach my work.
What brings me here
I studied education but did not pursue a teaching career, which shaped how I observe people, practice empathy, and think about inclusion. I later completed the New Media Design and Web Development program at BCIT, where transitioning into UX clarified where I create the most value. This path led me toward design work involving systems, people, and real world constraints, where decisions need to hold up beyond ideal scenarios.
// Work is always better when I’m surrounded by dogs.
How I work
0.1 Product/User Research
I begin with competitor and market research to understand where the product fits. This helps me frame the problem with both user needs and industry context.
0.2 Information Architecture
I map out flows and content early on to see the bigger picture. This groundwork helps me make stronger decisions later in design, especially when aligning structure with usability.
0.3 Conceptual Design
I turn ideas into intuitive flows and layouts that reflect both user behaviour and business goals. Each step is designed to clearly support the problem we’re solving.
0.4 Post-Handoff QA
I work closely with the backend and QA teams to ensure everything functions as intended. I stay involved to catch issues early and maintain quality through to release.
0.5 Design Presentation
I present designs clearly and relatable even to those without product or technical backgrounds. I focus on helping all stakeholders understand how the product works and why it matters.
0.6 Iterative Design
I gather feedback and continuously refine the design while scaling the product to meet growing needs. This ensures the solution stays effective and user-friendly over time.

Golf is hard, and so is life. 🏌️♂️
I’ve been playing golf almost every week when it’s in season for the past 2–3 years. Still can't manage to lower my score and often hit stupid shots. But I still enjoy the game since it gets me outside, walking on the greens, and driving around Metro Vancouver to discover new courses.
Snowboarding kills my knees. 🏂
I used to snowboard more before COVID, but one season, I think I overused my knees. Now I’ve got a chronic knee issue and have been snowboarding less over the past few years. But I still enjoy it when I go riding down the slopes in the mountains.

Meet my little sister Bomi. 🐕
I also love hanging out with my little sister Bomi, a sassy Shiba Mame Inu. She’s not a fan of other dogs but totally loves people and shows off her zoomies by chasing her tail and spinning around like a little tornado.
Fun facts about me
I can't ride a bike, and it's been on my New Year's resolution list for many years.
I’m good at remembering names and faces.
I don’t cook and mostly eat takeout.
I can’t swallow pills, so I’m practicing with smaller ones to check this off my New Year’s resolution list.
I hate fish and still remember how scared I was during our school aquarium field trip. I hate aquariums.
